The Community Bank of Self-Belief ("we", "us") is a community self-belief and habit-tracking app. We respect your privacy and collect only what we need to run the service.
1. Information we collect
- Account info: your email address and chosen display name.
- Profile: optional avatar image and personal statement of belief.
- App activity: weekly contracts you set, coins you claim, and your coin history.
- Community content: posts, comments, and likes you create in the community feed.
- Notifications: in-app alerts and your notification preferences.
- Moderation: reports you submit and users you block.
- Technical: basic device and request data needed to run the service securely.
2. How we use your data
- Run the app: sign-in, save your progress, deliver notifications.
- Display your name, avatar, and coin balance on your own posts and comments.
- Maintain community safety through reports, blocks, and moderation.
- Send optional weekly reminders if you've enabled them.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Where your data is stored
Data is stored on Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase), in managed Postgres databases and storage. Avatars are stored in a public storage bucket so they can be displayed in the feed.
4. Third parties
- Google Sign-In: if you choose Google sign-in, Google handles authentication and shares your basic profile info (name, email) with us.
- Lovable Cloud / Supabase: our backend, database, and storage provider.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time from Settings → Account → Permanently delete account, or by visiting our public Delete account page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
6. Children
This service is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data from within the app. For other requests, contact us at the email below.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Database access is protected by row-level security so members can only read and modify their own data, except where explicitly designed for community visibility (e.g. community posts).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app.
